CDC Recommends Preparing for All Disasters–Even Zombies: Normal natural disasters are floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and earthquakes and being prepared for disaster means being ready for any type of emergency–even zombies! The CDC blogged about preparing for disaster and reminded readers that in the event of a zombie apocalypse, basic preparedness will help even if there are flesh-eaters roaming about. They recommend preparing for zombies is really no different than preparing for other types of disasters. As with any emergency, you should have an emergency plan that includes an evacuation route and a safe place to get away from zombies. It’s good to know the CDC is wiling to take time to address the concerns of the public in regards to a zombie apocalypse. Besides, if you are prepared for a zombie invasion, then you are ready to deal with anything Mother Nature throws at you!
