Jan 8, 2011 Show Archives/Podcast Hour 1 – Hour 2 – Hour 3 – Hour 4
Our guest for the first half of the show this evening is William von Holst. William received his M.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign in Philosophy and Art History. He received a scholarship from the University of Chicago Ph.D. Divinity program, but decided against accepting it. He had studied under many teachers throughout the 1970s and early 1980s, including Ram Dass and Elizabeth Claire Prophet. In 1986, William met Imre Vallyon and has, for the past 24 years, worked with Imre in New Zealand, Europe, Canada, and the United States. He has taught during retreats and conducts various classes throughout the Bay Area of California focusing on Imre’s spiritual teachings.
William will be discussing Imre Vallyon’s latest book, Planetary Transformation: The Age of Sounding-Light as well as the spiritual teachings of Imre Vallyon.
Since 1980 Imre Vallyon has dedicated his life to teaching the Wisdom Science through his extensive writings and through workshops and retreats conducted around the world. In 1982 he established the Foundation for Higher Learning, an international Spiritual School designed to provide people with the opportunity to practice spiritual awakening in a group environment, with the ultimate goal of self-realization and planetary transformation. In 2008 Imre won the Ashton Wylie Charitable Trust Book Award for his four-volume treatise Heavens and Hells of the Mind, which was described as “a remarkable and exhaustive work on human consciousness and the wisdom of the ages.”
