Why so nuts, America? We need to chill and work on our sense of impulse control. Remember United We Stand, Divided We Fall? The division is accelerating and the chasm widens by the week.
Not that long ago, America seemed to be more mellow, even when we knew our leaders were corrupt or lying to us and our rights were steadily being eroded away. These days, way too many people are pointing fingers at “the other side” (I thought we were all Americans) while ready to pick a fight for what they believe (or someone told them to believe) is “right.”
Paranoia, fear, and blame have replaced trust, civility, and cooperation, leaving us with a nation where the mad are now seemingly “in control” and the rest of us wondering what universe we’re in.
