Hours 1 and 2: Thomas D. Nehrer
Author and internationally recognized speaker Thomas Daniel Nehrer joins Amerika Now during the first two hours of the show to discuss his books The Essence of Reality: A Clear Awareness of HOW LIFE WORKS and The Illusion of “Truth:” The Real Jesus Behind the Grand Myth.
In the first hour, Tom will discuss the essence of reality and how life works, which he presents in his book, The Essence of Reality: A Clear Awareness of 
HOW LIFE WORKS. True visionaries perceive Consciousness/Reality as a “Oneness,” not separate–a recognition neither ethereal nor idealistic, simply real–and that’s How Life Works. Beliefs, however, can dim awareness of life’s outer-inner connection. Perceiving the Oneness requires dropping old, flawed notions and coming to see how the Self manifests patterns in real life.
You create patterns in your life: your relationships, health and success all reflect your inner nature. Tom will provide insights into life’s subtle flow and explain the inner source of those patterns and how to delve inward to change them. He’ll also talk about how beliefs distort perception and limit awareness.
In hour two, Tom will discuss his newest book, The Illusion of “Truth” in which he exposes religion, popular notions, and even science as dualistic–falsely separating Consciousness from Reality.
Do you want to understand what Jesus was about? Tom’s multifaceted view of Jesus of Nazareth reveals cryptic insights in his parables and exposes a religion based on fantasy and lore concocted about Jesus–not from his unique perception of reality. Based on scholarly research and his own unique “Clear Awareness,” Tom recreates the path the “real” Yeshua would have taken to grow beyond first-century cultural myth to see reality as a timeless sage.
Tom will talk about the “Kingdom of Heaven within” and reveal how life works and Jesus’ full awareness of its meaning-based flow. He’ll also discuss how Christianity grew from ancient notions and layered myth about Jesus, rather than insights from him.
Questioning cultural truths of small-town middle-America, Tom jettisoned religion by age 10. In his early 20s, he left a Chemical Engineering career to travel widely, seeking to better understand life. His mystic experience on Corfu exposed the shortcomings of science. During a fleeting epiphany, he could clearly perceive that he was not a separate entity sensing remote objects, but a “Oneness” experiencing itself from within its own essence.
Always sensitive that concepts regarding life correspond to experiential Reality, Tom explored many disciplines, philosophies and teachings, absorbing valued perspectives, but never bowing to self-aggrandized masters, popular myth, or single-explanation “truths.”
Giving psychic readings for a time in his 30s, Tom gained direct exposure to the subconscious, the realm of meaning and value that underlies human consciousness and real-life effects. But only his long inner journey, penetrating into all facets of his own psyche, its innate values and distinct mechanisms of realizing them, could restore the immediate awareness he had experienced on Corfu. Perfecting self-hypnosis and meditation technique, Tom cleared away all limiting beliefs absorbed from cultural input during his childhood. Using these straightforward techniques, he delved into inner roots of outer problems in health, success and relationships issues and eliminated them within a process which spurs healing at all levels.
During the process of inner change, Tom gained “Clear Awareness;” seeing life without the veil of beliefs and definitions, but now as an ongoing, conscious capacity, not a fleeting glimpse.
At the unsolicited offer of a British publisher in 2005, Tom expanded his online writings into book form. While finishing his first book, The Essence of Reality, Tom retired from active business concerns to devote time to promoting his valued perspectives.
