Micah Hanks is a self-proclaimed (but not self-righteous) skeptic with a passion for the more unique scientific mysteries this world has to offer. His website, The Gralien Report (www.gralienreport.com), posts the latest maverick science and strange news from around the world, including such topics as Fortean phenomena, science and technology, and UFOs. Micah contributes articles and stories on strange scientific discoveries and political topics to such magazines as FATE, Fortean Times, Mysteries Magazine, UFO Magazine, TCS Daily, The Journal of Anomalous Sciences, and others. In 2010, a large part of Micah’s research revolved around altered states of consciousness, psychedelic drugs, and the prevalence of similarities between archetypal folklore from around the world, which culminated in his book, Magic, Mysticism and the Molecule (available for sale on his website). As well, Micah has had the privilege of working on numerous television programs, including the Travel Channel’s Weird Travels, National Geographic’s Paranatural, and the History Channel’s Guts and Bolts (during which time he was an investigator with the L.E.M.U.R. Research Team between 2004 and 2010).
Micah believes that our world is a place full of enduring mysteries, but with time he believes that these mysteries will all begin to overlap with our scientific understanding of the cosmos. For the time being, however, he continues to share many of these fascinating subjects both on his website (www.gralienreport.com) and his radio show, Gradio! (podcast on the website).
