ABC News and Yahoo! News have joined together and will report their online traffic as one number, while supposedly maintaining “editorial independence.” The potential problem is that if online news sources, which were considered independent of corporate media, continue to merge with corporate America, eventually all forms of media (television, radio, news print, magazines) will be controlled by six major corporations. Unfortunately, corporate America is in collusion with big government, thus, freedom in reporting and truth speaking no longer has its rewards.
