If there was a way to preserve our nation from those who seek to cripple her with debt, would you stand up and take your place among We the American People?<\/p>\n
That\u2019s the rally cry of Loren J. Enns, whose new book, \u201cThe Sword of Liberty,\u201d proposes a National Initiative Process that he believes could be used to stop our government from bankrupting America.\u00a0 Enns says this process is a way \u201cwith which the American people can attempt to seize destiny from the hands of our government and return representative democracy to the people while getting the money and privilege out of politics.\u201d<\/p>\n
We the American People and our Republic are suffering because of domination by the rich few and moneyed interests.\u00a0 Laws are made based on special interests, while public welfare is often set aside.\u00a0 Money not only talks, it rules.\u00a0 Corruption and collusion are running rampant, and the government and politicians, both left and right, are failing us.\u00a0 Without reform, there can be no real control of these moneyed interests; but until politicians stand up and are responsible to the people only, there will be no reform.<\/p>\n
\u201cOver the last 50 years, the honest majority in Congress has vanished, destroying our foundation of trust,\u201d says Enns.\u00a0 A corrupted Congress will not reform itself.\u00a0 Enns believes it is up to us to empower ourselves and take back our destiny, along with America\u2019s destiny as well.<\/p>\n
With the election approaching, many argue that a change in political parties will move us toward solving these problems.\u00a0 Enns disagrees, however, stating that \u201cIn 2009-10, when the Democrats had the Presidency and Congress, they borrowed well over a trillion dollars each year.\u00a0 When the Republicans took back the House in 2011, they promised to cut deficit spending.\u00a0 In 2011-12, they joined with the Democrats in borrowing well over a trillion dollars each year\u2014directly violating their pledge.\u00a0 As such, both parties have proven themselves debt-addicts, unworthy of our trust.\u201d<\/p>\n
If we cannot trust those working within the system to fix it, is there another way?\u00a0 Did the Founding Fathers leave us an emergency Constitutional mechanism that could be used to both bypass the federal government and amend the Constitution if necessary?<\/p>\n
