In the age of Trump, breaking norms and shocking the conscience have become the new “norms.”\u00a0 But this is not normal.<\/p>\n

While Trump attacks the media as being the enemy of the people and producing fake news, he couldn’t speak truth if his life depended on it. This is not normal!\u00a0 He treats dictators and autocrats like best buddies while treating friends and those he works with like enemies. This is not normal!\u00a0 Trump’s foreign policy boils down to defending Russia’s President Putin (over U.S. intelligence), the Saudi prince who is accused of murdering a journalist, and Kim Jong Un (and his human rights abuses). All this while berating the leaders of our ally nations Germany, Canada, and the United Kingdom. And National security? Decisions are made in tweets. None of this is normal!<\/p>\n

Then there’s the xenophobia while Making America Great Again…Trump is closing America to those he selectively decides are “animals and rapists and terrorists.” He’s reduced the number of refugees allowed to enter the U.S. with an arbitrary travel ban and is working on curbing legal immigration. None of this is normal!<\/p>\n

On climate change, the president stands alone against basically the rest of the world, even actively working to make it worse. This is not normal!<\/p>\n

America has never had to question whether its president prioritized our country’s interests above those of other countries like Russia, but with Trump, we not only must question all of\u00a0 this but whether or not Trump is in Putin’s pocket.<\/p>\n

NONE of this is normal!!!<\/p>\n
