One of the most important communications skills is active listening, which requires asking the speaker clarifying questions. \u00a0One simple way to do this is to repeat back what the listener thought the speaker said, and ask if this is correct.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Silence can also be an effective tool when used appropriately. \u00a0Hiatt will talk about SILENCE\u00a0<\/span>as a mnemonic device and how it can become an effective communication choice.<\/p>\n
